TABOOLA OFFICE | 48,000 RSF, 270 PP, 178 RSF/PP | COMPLETED SPRING 2017 | LEAD DESIGNER | MKDA
Taboola is a private advertising company with offices located throughout the world. As a company exponentially growing with a millennial workforce, the concept for their headquarters was youthful innovation. The challenge was to create an up-to-date, branded interior on a strict budget while incorporating state of the art security, AV, communications, and a highly efficient work environment focused on the organization’s international brand and employee well-being. The space incorporates loft-like features and bright work environments. The reception area shows a strong and innovative branding presence, highlighted with “O” swings that, along with the other furniture, spell “Taboola”. Conference rooms and huddle rooms compensate for small individual work surfaces. Lounge spaces among the open plan are designated with varying carpet tile colors, alluding to area rugs. The carpet tile will be replaced with the general carpet and desks as these break out spaces are designed with power and data to accommodate future growth. Large amounts of space are allocated to larger amenity areas such as the pantry-town hall. A stadium staircase off the pantry bridges the 7th and 8th floor creating a seamless and cohesive transition.
